Sponsors Of Our Projects
Beryl Phala has worked closely with sponsors of the 3 projects which she coordinated from 2011 to 2012. We would like to thank the Botswana High Commission in London for their involvement and great support in making these projects a success. The British Council for providing such a well structured exhibition venue for all the 3 participating African countries, by accommodating us under the same roof and Carol Tulloch as our curator for the first ever IFS 2012.The British Fashion Council for masterminding and initiating the event as part of the Fashion2012 and the London 2012 Olympic Games program.
The main aim of the project was to showcase the Botswana fashion designers creative talent to the international audience as part of the London Olympic Games 2012 program. The following projects were executed:
The International Fashion Showcase in association with the British Council & the British Fashion Council in February - March 2012.
The Botswana Fashion Show in collaboration with Limkokwing University in London during the London Fashion Week in February 2012.
The London Garment Expo in August 2012 which was also sponsored by the Botswana High Commission in London.
